There are a few bits there such as lights and a tripod, and I just put all the gear I'm selling, some super8 and some 35mm still, in one post, so there might be something in that lot people will be interested in. This almost does'nt seem worthy of a post, but its a bit disheartening too see a big zero next to all the topics

I don't think people will actually post to the for sale topics as much as simply contact the sellers via the e-mail insignia each post has in place...

I've e-mailed one of the sellers twice and have not gotten a response.

Perhaps instead of a reply counter there should be a "hit" counter "view counter" to show how many people have looked at a listing.

Than when the item sells, the seller should leave a message on the topic post that says the item has been sold.

I agree that the reply counter at zero may send the wrong psychological message to anyone who happens to glance at the board.

I don't know if a "hit" counter or "view" counter is possible....

Perhaps Mike Brantley knows.
